Sebastian Hurtado Baker

Sebastian has experience in domestic and international tax consulting, particularly in the analysis of cross-border transactions, corporate restructurings, and the application of international tax treaties. He has also participated in projects involving preferential tax regimes (REFIPRE), foreign tax-transparent entities and foreign legal vehicles and arrangements, as well as the tax analysis of related-party transactions and other transactions with international components.
Sebastian holds a B.A. in Public Accounting and Financial Strategy and a B.A. in Administration from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). Prior to joining Mijares, he was part of the International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) practice at EY Mexico, where he participated in tax advisory projects for domestic and multinational groups, primarily involving international tax matters and cross-border transactions.
