Mijares announces the admission of a new partner to strengthen leadership in a strategic practice area

Mijares, Angoitia, Cortés y Fuentes, S.C. announces that Juan Pablo Betancourt Eichelmann has been invited to join the Firm as Partner in the Corporate Finance & Banking and Mergers & Acquisitions practice areas, effective January 1, 2026.

With this admission, the Firm reinforces its leadership and strengthens its commitment to delivering strategic solutions to its clients, consolidating a team that now includes 26 partners, 7 counsel and more than 145 professionals.

Juan Pablo brings extensive experience in corporate finance, banking, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate law. He has advised creditors and debtors in corporate and structured finance transactions and financial restructurings, as well as domestic and international buyers, sellers and investors in M&A transactions, joint ventures and strategic alliances. He also represents financial institutions and fintech companies in financial regulatory matters, including authorization processes, incorporation and commencement of operations.
