As of July 17, 2025, the merger control thresholds for reportable transactions under Mexico’s Competition Law were reduced as shown in the following table:
During 2024, more than 160 transactions were notified to the Federal Economic Competition Commission and the Federal Telecommunications Institute. It is expected that the reduction of the thresholds will significantly increase the number of concentrations to be notified.
