Carolina focuses her practice on environmental and regulatory law, as well as in criminal liability and compliance.

She has experience in administrative litigation, providing services in advising national and international companies from various sectors, focusing on conflict resolution and representation before local and federal administrative authorities, as well as before Federal and State Courts, implementing strategies for the filing of means of defense against acts of such authorities, including alternative means of dispute resolution.

Carolina has a law degree from Universidad Panamericana and a diploma in Essentials of US Cybercecurity and Technology Law from New York University (NYU).

On February 20, in a landmark decision on the separation of powers with significant implications for international trade, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) does not authorize the President to impose tariffs unilaterally, as Congress has not clearly delegated its fundamental tax and tariff powers to the Executive Branch through that law.
