Jacquelin Gutiérrez González

Jacquelin has extensive experience in the development, structuring, and financing of energy and infrastructure projects, advising commercial banks, sponsors, infrastructure and energy funds, government agencies, and multilateral lending institutions on contractual and regulatory aspects of public procurement, construction, operation, and financing. As General Counsel, she has been responsible for legal matters related to the development and financing of water infrastructure assets in northern Mexico and power generation assets throughout the country, including a 396 MW wind farm in Oaxaca and two combined-cycle power plants, each with a capacity of 495 MW, in Veracruz. She has also represented railway concessionaires in negotiations regarding regulations and right-of-way agreements, and is the author of the book *Environmental Impact* (Porrúa, 2004).
Jacquelin holds a law degree from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM) and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Prior to joining Mijares, she served as General Counsel at Caria Capital and Diamond Generating Corporation Mexico (a Mitsubishi Group company), was an associate at Galicia Abogados, S.C. and White & Case, S.C., and headed the legal department at The Nature Conservancy for Mexico and Central America.
