Marcelo González Ceniceros

Marcelo has experience handling civil and commercial litigation, as well as amparo proceedings, before both local and federal authorities.
His practice is primarily focused on the resolution of commercial disputes and, in particular, on handling commercial insolvency (concurso mercantil) proceedings, in which he has provided comprehensive representation to the insolvent merchant, creditors, and specialists. He also has experience in strategic planning and in handling ordinary proceedings, both civil and commercial, as well as oral and executive commercial proceedings.
Marcelo holds a law degree from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), where he was part of the Criminal Litigation Clinic Against Serious Human Rights Violations and graduated with the thesis: "Deficiencies of Insolvency Law in Mexico: How to Address Them in Light of the Right of Access to Justice and Effective Judicial Protection Enshrined in the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States?"
