Patricio has broad experience in corporate law, focusing his practice on financial and real estate matters.

He has advised various issuers, financial intermediaries, and placement agents in securities offerings, including equity and debt issuances, both public and private, carried out in Mexico and abroad. He has also represented companies, funds, and banking institutions in securitization and structured finance transactions, as well as in a wide range of financing operations, including syndicated loans.

In real estate matters, Patricio is actively involved in the acquisition, development, and financing of real estate projects, with a particular focus on commercial and industrial assets. He has advised developers, private equity funds, and financial institutions, both domestic and foreign, on the acquisition, financing, development, and sale of real estate.

On February 20, in a landmark decision on the separation of powers with significant implications for international trade, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) does not authorize the President to impose tariffs unilaterally, as Congress has not clearly delegated its fundamental tax and tariff powers to the Executive Branch through that law.
