Rafael Domínguez-Morfin

Associate since 2023

Rafael has experience in antitrust, telecommunications, real estate and project finance. He has participated in advising several economic agents in merger notification procedures and investigations initiated by the Federal Economic Competition Commission or by the Federal Telecommunications Institute. Among the sectors in which he has participated are energy, technology, fiber, telecommunications, infrastructure, and mining.

Additionally, he has advised on infrastructure projects, including financing and development in both domestic and foreign transactions.

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the judicial sphere has ceased to be a theoretical hypothesis to become a tangible reality in Mexico. A recent ruling by the Second Collegiate Civil Court of the Second Circuit, from which isolated thesis II.2o.C.9 K (11a.) derives, establishes for the first time the ethical and methodological parameters for its application in judicial proceedings.
