Claudia has more than 10 years of experience. Her practice focuses on trademarks, copyrights, data privacy and technology, and transactions involving intellectual property assets.

She regularly advises Mexican and foreign companies on intellectual property, data privacy,
entertainment, advertising, intellectual property rights agreements, and strategic planning for specific projects.

She has experience in domestic and cross-border transactions, involving due diligence of intellectual property assets, the negotiation, preparation, revision and execution of agreements, as well as the design, development and implementation of legal strategies to protect and secure intellectual property rights.

Throughout her professional career, she has been responsible for planning complex legal strategies for national and international companies regarding the registration, enforcement, and conservation of all types of intellectual property rights.

On February 6, 2026, the Federal Electricity Commission (“CFE”) and the Ministry of Energy (“SENER”) presented the Request for Proposals for CFE’s Mixed Development Schemes (the “RfP”). The RfP details certain elements of the structure of mixed development schemes and establishes the deadlines and requirements for participation.

On February 3, 2026, the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, accompanied by the Secretary of Finance and Public Credit, presented the Infrastructure Investment Plan for Development with Welfare 2026-2030 (the "Plan"). This strategy foresees a significant increase in public investment to develop public infrastructure and encourages the participation of the private sector through the implementation of mixed schemes, differentiated from Public-Private Partnerships, with the aim of achieving complementary investments that protect public finances.

On January 28, 2026, the Federal Electricity Commission (“CFE” per its acronym in Spanish) published the Guidelines for Mixed Development Schemes (the “Guidelines”) in the Official Gazette of the Federation. The Guidelines establish the minimum content of mixed investment agreements, the selection procedures for the participation of private parties in mixed development schemes, and the selection procedure for the migration of permits under the Electric Power Public Service Law (“LSPEE” by its acronym in Spanish).
