Cynthia has extensive experience in the infrastructure sector and has represented clients, including financial institutions, developers and governmental entities, in the planning and structuring of corporate and financing transactions for a wide range of projects.

Her practice includes advising financial institutions and developers on the structuring and implementation of financing arrangements, security packages and payment mechanisms, as well as on the acquisition and sale of infrastructure projects. She has also participated in the design and implementation of legal structures for the development of infrastructure projects, including public procurement processes, contract awards, financing and project development.

Cynthia has been recognized as an “Associate to Watch” in Projects by Chambers and Partners Latin America in its 2025, 2026 and 2027 editions, and by Chambers Global in 2025 and 2026.

Cynthia holds a law degree from Universidad Panamericana and a Master’s degree in Financial Law Institutions from the same university. Prior to joining Mijares, she was a senior associate at Pérez-Llorca México, S.C. and Chávez Vargas Abogados.
