Raquel Najmias Hemsani

Raquel has a solid background in labor and employment law, executive compensation, and benefits, advising national and international companies on the design and implementation of comprehensive labor strategies. Her experience includes negotiating and drafting employment agreements, structuring sophisticated compensation arrangements—including variable and long-term incentive plans—as well as executing complex labor restructurings. Throughout her career, she has specialized in the transactional sphere, analyzing labor and employment implications in corporate transactions and participating in high-level due diligence processes.

Raquel holds a Law degree from Universidad Iberoamericana and an LL.M. from New York University. She is admitted to practice law in Mexico and in the State of New York, a distinction that strengthens her cross-border practice. Prior to rejoining Mijares, Angoitia, Cortés y Fuentes, S.C., she was an associate in the Executive Compensation & ERISA group at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson in New York, and previously worked in the labor and employment practice at Cuesta Campos and at Mijares as both a law clerk and an associate.
